Hyundai i40 unveiled Details, Specifications

Hyundai motors at the ongoing 2011 Geneva Motor show presented their all new Hyundai i40.The new Hyundai i40 is much like to a wagon form of Hyundai Sonata.Its said that the new Hyundai i40 is designed specially for European markets which is a sad news for its lovers in Other markets especially in India.

The new Hyundai i40 will be presented in both petrol and diesel models.The diesel model packs a 1.7-litre diesel unit codenamed 'UII' will provide greater mileage (fuel economy) and will produce just 113 grams of CO2 per kilometre as said by Hyundai.

The petrol model is expected to house a new 2.0-litre petrol engine which is different from the currently using 2.0-litre petrol engine and provides better fuel economy and less CO2 emision.The new 2.0-litre petrol engine is coded as 'Nu'.

According to Hyundai the new i40 will hit European markets by the 2nd half of this year and we could hope they will change their decision and will launch i40 in Indian market later.Let's wait and watch...
